I love you all with all my heart.  I miss mom every day and am finding the last few days very difficult.  I am strengthened by your love and support.  I can’t help but think about all of the wonderful Christmas’s that we spent together and feel sorry that we cannot be together tonight and tomorrow.  I trust that all of you are in the spirit of Christmas and will share a bowl of onion soup and a Caesar salad with each other and remember the spirit of mom.  She was the anchor for us all.  She loved Christmas so much but her real joy was seeing the happiness in all of you.  Sharing our love for each other was special.  Don’t forget to make sure there are letters to Santa and a cookie or two and some carrots of course and milk…it can be whole, 2%, skim or otherwise.  For those who are so inclined bring out a copy of Twas the Night Before Christmas, listen to some Christmas Music and maybe even a classic Christmas movie.  It would be cool if there was snow, but even in Philly we won’t be so lucky.  So, no snowmen, snowball fights or watching snow fall.  If you can maybe have some hot chocolate or something stronger, don’t forget the marshmallows and have some Christmas cookies.  No South Beach diet tonight.  Spend a little time letting each other know how much you care for each other and rest well tonight.  I know that most of us don’t really anticipate the visit from Santa anymore, but I am reminded of all things magical as I log hours on Cheesy Christmas Movies and you know… the messages in some of those movies are not all bad.  Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men, the true meaning of Christmas and looking at the Christmas Tree with all the special ornaments that you have saved and cherished through the years.  I know this can be a very emotional time.  I know it is for me.  When the sun comes up tomorrow and we all celebrate Christmas Day, have quiche and open the presents once again I ask that you take a minute to remember mom and how she made Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the best two days of the year.  I had to write this message, I wanted to honor her memory once again.  She will be my Christmas Angel forever.  Bless you all and a joyous Merry Christmas!!!
